Mauritius Gymkhana Club – Golf

Set in Vacoas, in the island’s uplands, the Mauritius Gymkhana Club carries on a golfing tradition introduced by British officers. Originally a nine-hole course, it was extended to eighteen holes in the 1950s. The current layout, a par 68, has six par 3s, ten par 4s and two par 5s.

Visitors are welcome on weekdays (excluding public holidays), to be confirmed with the club. The club offers golf lessons, a floodlit driving range for the evening, hire of club sets, trolleys and golf carts, as well as caddies.
